A close brush on anti-social media

I surfed the web. I ended up, as usual, on Facebook, scrolling through friends’ news and puppy pictures and political memes and people making absurd political statements.

When I landed on something especially absurd, I started crafting a response explaining to the person why it was absurd and what a rational human being might believe regarding that particular topic.

Before I could finish and share my brilliant thoughts, I signed out of Facebook and closed the laptop, wiping the response away and out of my mind.

It’s going to be a good day.

Don’t feed the trolls. And don’t be a troll.
