I’m not the droid you’re looking for —

or perhaps I am, and a mind trick 

is making you believe I’m not.

It’s a whole ’nother imposter syndrome —

I am exactly what you wish to find, 

but I believe I am an imposter

and you suspect I might be real

but someone has convinced you otherwise

and all three of us have a piece of the truth
