The sad thing about love is that there’s always a goodbye. But it always starts with a hello, and there are all those hellos in between. If you accumulate enough hellos, eventually — and sometimes pretty soon — you have love.
The goodbye is the hardest, hardest part, but on balance the love outweighs everything and the memories are sweet and warm and worth every bit of the pain — even the deepest, deepest pain.
