I went out on the back deck Friday afternoon, and the sounds of waves crashing on the bay down below, and the melodic chaos of the wind chimes, matched the gray clouds up above that promised the weather people were right about the 6 to 10 inches of snow we were apparently going to get Saturday.
But a little patch of blue in the sky just south of the house also promised, “Don’t worry, the sun is still up here.”
The snow will stop falling, the clouds will go away, and life will go on. That’s just how it is.
